| This snowy city draws in several groups tourists during skiing season, but is often quiet and close to empty when the rush of the holiday breaks leave the slopes. Chloe's family owns a vacation home in the forest/mountains here. Brant and his mother's also live in the forest/mountains here.

| Located just outside of Cloudcroft, New Mexico, Leonis Mons Forest holds a small, spaced out neighborhood. The houses are mostly blocked by the trees between them, making each feel isolated, except for the layer of trees between Chloe's house and Brant's house. Since they are on the side of the gently sloping mountain, Brant's house is slightly below Chloe's vacation home, and neither house is hidden from the other.

| Hillster Road used to be a commonly used stretch, but after the city on the north end of Hillster burned down, there was no point for citizen's of Cloudcroft to take Hillster. It's said that some people travel down the road and never come back, though Chloe's never seen anyone take the road.

| The open space of land that Brant named "Middle of Nowhere, New Mexico" appropriately hides Animalis. No humans have ever been here, but Chloe is destined to break the wall between Animalis and mortals.

| Semper, which means forever in Latin, is the nickname to Semper Station, the scientific police station in which the captured Anamalis are held. Brant and his mother were trapped here before he escaped to Cloudcroft. Anamalis are tested, and held in one person prison cells. Most of the specials trapped here end up going insane.

| Captain "Dual" Greene, leader of the Duals, has a large office located under Semper Station. In his office, he tries to locate the Anamalis headquarters using his enhanced Apple computers, but since the Anamalis spreads themselves out, they have no official headquarters. Captain Greene also kept Brant in his office's cell while he was captured since Brant seemed to know the most.

| The captured and brainwashed Animalis are trained to find and fight against the other Animalis. It's a field that seems to stretch on forever, but is really just a dome built of mirrors. The Animalis are so brainwashed, they don't register this.
